Description : The large stone grave Langeneichstädt (also Steinkiste von Langeneichstädt ) is a Neolithic megalithic grave complex of the Middle German Chamber type near Langeneichstädt , a district of the municipality of Müuellen (Geiseltal) in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt . It was discovered in 1987 during field work near the medieval Eichstädter Warte and became an outstanding megalithic object in Saxony-Anhalt . As part of the archaeological investigations, sandstone and shell limestone slabs were removed. The stone grave (5.3 m long, 1.9 m wide and 1.7 m high) is dated 3600 to 2700 BC. And is to be assigned to the Salzmünder or Bernburger culture .
